Senior guard Anthony Glover, Jr. has been named an IUP Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the sports information office on Monday, Jan. 8.
It's Glover's second career IUP weekly award and his first of the season.
Glover’s big night also came in Johnstown, scoring a career-high 31 points to lead the Crimson Hawks to a come-from-behind 81-76 win over the Mountain Cats. Glover keyed the comeback, scoring 20 of his points in the second half as IUP rallied from nine points down at the break. He finished the game 11-of-17 from the floor, including 6-of-8 from 3-point range, with four rebounds, three assists and two steals.
For the week, Glover averaged 22.5 points and shot 59.3 percent (16-of-27) from the floor, including 58.3 percent (7-of-12), and 6-of-7 from the foul line.
