Senior Tanya Fabian scored on IUP's first shot on goal in the team's 1-0 victory over eighth-ranked Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon. The Pittsburgh native scored the game's only goal in the 14th minute of action on a crossing pass from the left side. Slippery Rock headed into the 2013 season as the second-ranked PSAC team, receiving seven first place votes. The goal was Fabian's third of the season. She now has six points in just four games. The victory is IUP's first over Slippery Rock since Oct. 10, 2007. They had fallen in the previous eight matchups with The Rock. She also added an assist in the team's 2-1 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan.
