IUP finished its trip to Young Harris, Ga., with a 17-3 loss to the host Mountain Cats.

Freshmen Mike and Aaron Lupia (Middletown/Middletown) combined to drive in all three runs for the Crimson Hawks (4-6), who now head to Gaffney, S.C., for doubleheaders against nationally-ranked Limestone on Wednesday and Thursday.

IUP loaded the bases but could not score in the top of the first, and then plated its first run in the third when Frank Sirolli (Cinnaminson, N.J./Cinnaminson) singled and came across on a base hit by Mike Lupia (Middletown/Middletown). Aaron Lupia (Middletown/Middletown) added a two-run single in the fifth.

Young Harris scored once in the first and blew the game open early with seven in the second.
