THE GAME: The Crimson Hawks continue their homestand, hosting Millersville in the Homecoming game on Saturday at George P. Miller Stadium. Millersville enters with an 0-4 record and an eight-game losing streak, dating back to the 2012 season. The Crimson Hawks enter the game ranked 7th in the nation with a perfect 4-0 record and a 10-game regular season win streak.
ON THE AIR: The game will air live on WQMU-FM 92.5 with Jack Benedict serving as the play-by-play announcer and John Flickinger at his side as the color analyst. The two will be joined by sideline reporter Greg Drahuschak. The pregame show begins at 1:30 p.m. You can also listen to the action on the internet at u92radio.com. IUP-TV will make its long-awaited season debut, returning to the booth at Miller Stadium.
HEAD COACH CURT CIGNETTI: IUP head coach 
Curt Cignetti (West Virginia, '82) enters his third season at the helm after leading the Crimson Hawks to a PSAC championship, a 12-2 record and a berth in the NCAA playoffs in 2012. Through his two-plus seasons, Cignetti has a record of 23-5, going 13-3 in PSAC West play and 2-1 in the NCAA playoffs. He has a record of 12-2 at home and 11-3 on the road. This is Cignetti's 31st year of coaching, with previous stops at Alabama (07-10), NC State (00-06), Pittsburgh (83-84, 93-99) Temple (89-92), Rice (86-88) and Davidson (85).
THE SERIES: IUP holds the all-time series lead against the Marauders, with a record of 12-5. The Crimson Hawks have won the previous four meetings, dating back to the 2007 season. The Marauders last win against IUP came in the 2006 season when they claimed a 17-14 victory.
NEXT GAME: The Crimson Hawks will hit the road next week as they take on Slippery Rock in a PSAC West battle. One of the most anticipated games of the season, The Rock is electric on offense, scoring 48.5 points/game. IUP, however, boasts the nation's top defense, holding opponents to just 6.8 points/game.
HISTORIC HONOR... During halftime of this weekend's game against Millersville, the university will officially rename the field, Frank Cignetti Field at George P. Miller Stadium, changing the title in honor of long time coach and former athletic director, Frank Cignetti, Sr.
Cignetti coached at IUP for 20 seasons, putting together a record of 182-50-1 and led the 1991 and 1993 teams to national title game appearances. Cignetti is the father of current head coach 
Curt Cignetti.
CLAIMING THE COAL PAIL... The Crimson Hawks claimed the 20-7 win against Coal Bowl rival California last week, winning their first-ever Coal Pail Trophy. IUP's victory over the Vulcans was the first in the last seven meetings.
LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN... IUP has moved up one spot in the D2football.com poll to the No. 7 spot. They are also 7th in the AFCA Coaches Poll, where they were remain following their victory over Seton Hill two weeks ago.
FROM THE TOP LOOKING DOWN... IUP is the only PSAC West school with a perfect 4-0 record. Gannon is the only other in the division to boast a 2-0 record in the division, but hold a 3-1 overall record. Previously undefeated California and Clarion both fell last week.
TRIPLE THREAT... R-Sr. DB 
Terrell Holloway (Penn Hills/Penn Hills) picked off California QB Cody Shroeder three times in the first half of last week's game with two of his INTs coming in the end zone. He was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week on Sunday.
DEFENSE IS KING... The IUP defense ranks first in the nation in total defense, allowing only 221.8 yards/game. They also rank first in redzone defense (allowing only two scores in seven opponent attempts) and scoring defense (holding opponents to 6.8 points/game).
HOMECOMING STREAK... The Crimson Hawks look to increase their Homecoming win-streak against the Marauders. They have won their last two Homecoming games, defeating Slippery Rock 33-16 in 2012 and getting the best of Edinboro 19-0 in 2011.
CONFERENCE CRUSHER... IUP leads the PSAC in nearly every defensive category, allowing on an astounding 6.8 points/game. The Crimson Hawks have allowed opponents only 27 points in four games and have outscored those opponents 125-27.
The IUP defense has only given up 4 TDs in as many games, also tops in the PSAC. As a defensive unit, the Crimson Hawks are first in the conference in interceptions, picking off their opponents 10 times and adding one pick-six.
TACKLE MASTER... R-Sr. LB 
Carl Fleming (Reisterstown, MD/Franklin) has 36 total tackles this year, 7th in the PSAC. His 12.0 tackles/game average leads the conference and is tied for ninth in the nation. Fleming has only played in 3 of the Crimson Hawks' 4 games.
ANOTHER HUNDRED... R-Sr. RB 
De'Antwan Williams (Woodbridge, VA/Woodbridge) added another 100+ rushing yard performance on Saturday against the Vulcans, running for 167 yards on 38 carries and adding 2 TDs. Williams had struggled against Cheyney and Seton Hill, only managing a combined 81 yards in those two games.
COUNTDOWN TO 800... The Homecoming game will be the 794th game in IUP history, with the 800th game coming at the end of the regular season against Shippensburg or in the PSAC Championship game. In IUP's 800 games, they hold a 517-254-23 record. The team sits at 16th in all-time victories in Division II, two games behinid Northwest Missouri State.
SCOUTING THE MARUADERS
OFFENSE... Millersville is last in the PSAC in scoring offense, managing only 9 points/game with only 4 TDs in as many games. The Marauders are led by So. QB Connor Casey who has two passing touchdowns and 4 INTs, completing 57 of 114 attempts.
The run game has struggled as well, with only one rushing touchdown. R-Sr. RB Ian Sadon has the lone TD and is averaging 3.5 yards/carry and 54.8 yds/game.
DEFENSE... The defense for the Marauders is also struggling, allowing the most points-per-game in the PSAC. As a team, they allow 48 points-per-game. Their opponents have outscored them 192-36 in four games.
R-So. S Rasheed Johnson leads the team in tackles with 19 with a season-high 13 against West Chester.
SPECIAL TEAMS... Fr. Evan Stahl will handle the punting and kicking duties for Millersville. A true freshman, Stahl has gone 2-4 in FGs and 4-4 in XPs.
R-Jr. David Coates and R-Sr. Dominic Sanders will handle the return game for the Marauders. Coates has returned 16 kicks for 326 total yards and a long return of 40.
