Shippensburg would post a pair of runs in the bottom of the first, and 10 runs in the second to take a commanding 12-0 lead after just two innings. The Lady Raiders tallied eight hits in the inning.
Mauk and
Brooke Green (Gettysburg/Gettysburg) were the only Crimson Hawks with hits in game one, while Jessie Trammell went 2-for-2 with three RBI for Shippensburg.
IUP 9, SLIPPERY ROCK 3
After Slippery Rock jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first, the Crimson Hawks posted seven runs in the bottom-half of the inning to take a commanding lead after one.

Stef Poates (Yorktown, VA/Grafton). Beaver would come around to score on a
Stefanie McCoy (New Paris/Chestnut Ridge) groundout just moments later.
