INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP athletic department has announced the field hockey schedule for the 2015 fall season. The Crimson Hawks are scheduled to play 18 games, with 10 of those being Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) mandated contests.
 
The season opens on Thursday, September 3 when the Crimson Hawks welcome Mercyhurst to George P. Miller Stadium. They'll hit the road that weekend, heading to South Carolina to face Limestone on Saturday and Newberry on Sunday.
 
IUP's official PSAC opener will come the following week on Wednesday, September 9, with a home game against Seton Hill.
 
The next three games for the Crimson Hawks will be on the road before returning to Miller Stadium for back-to-back home games against Shippensburg on September 26 and Bellarmine on September 27.
 
A four-game road trip ends September and continues into October, highlighted by a game against defending PSAC champion West Chester on October 3. The Crimson Hawks then finish their regular season with five straight home games, including a game against Millersville, last year's Division II national champions, on Saturday, October 24. The regular season finale will come on Halloween against Kutztown.
 
The 2015 PSAC Championships will start with the quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 3. The semifinals and finals will be hosted by the top seed on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7.
