Baseball looks to Halt Losing Streak; Travels to Dubois and Clarion this Week
IUP at Penn State Dubois | Wednesday, March 23 | 6:00 p.m.
IUP at Clarion | Friday, March 25 | 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.
IUP vs. Clarion | Saturday, March 26 | 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

The IUP baseball team will look to bounce back this week as they play two strong opponents. IUP will first travel to Dubois as they face a new Penn State branch campus program. This game will be played under the lights of the recently opened Showers Field in Dubois. First pitch is at 6:00 p.m. IUP will then begin a four-game set with Clarion starting on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Clarion is 3-10 on the year while IUP sits at 6-14. Look for junior Chris Calliari (Brockway, Pa./Brockway) and senior Hunter Bigler (Washington, Pa./Trinity) to continue their tirade at the plate this weekend.
 
Women's Tennis Hopes to Build on Strong Start; Hosts Chestnut Hill for First Home Match

IUP at Slippery Rock | Friday, March 25 | 4:00 p.m.

The IUP women's tennis team will face Chestnut Hill and Slippery Rock this week with high hopes of remaining undefeated for the season. IUP is now 7-0 with no plans on losing anytime soon. After a 9-0 demolishing of West Liberty, IUP now hosts an 11-5 Chestnut Hill team and a day later will travel to Slippery Rock to square off against a 7-5 team in its PSAC West opener.
 
Softball Starts Four-Game Home Set

IUP vs. Bloomsburg | Saturday, March 26 | 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

The IUP softball team will look to get back at it after a postponed doubleheader against Shippensburg as they stay at home this week to face two PSAC opponents. First, on Friday, the Crimson Hawks will face a 17-7 Lock Haven team and then a day after will host a 15-4 Bloomsburg team.
 
Women's Lacrosse Hopes to Keep Hot-Streak; Hosts Shippensburg

The IUP women's lacrosse team will look to build upon their two-game win streak as they face off against a 3-2 Shippensburg squad. The Crimson Hawks have been seemingly on fire lately as they have posted double-digit points in both of the last two games. Look for senior Amy Weinberg (Clarksville, Md./Atholton) and junior Kim Hooven (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) to continue their phenomenal play as of late.

Men and Women's Outdoor Track Begins First Meet of the Season; Travels to California
IUP at California Early Bird Invitational | Saturday, March 26
The IUP men's and women's outdoor track and field will travel to Cal this weekend to compete in the California Early Bird Invitational. This is the first meet of the respective team's outdoor seasons. Look for sophomore Julius Rivera (Monroevilla, Pa./Gateway) and senior Alex Hampel (Middletown, Del./Salesianum) to transition their strong indoor marks to the outdoor track.
