PITTSBURGH, Pa. – IUP men's senior
Dalton Trump (Lancaster, Pa./J.P. McCaskey) finished fourth overall as the Crimson Hawks' men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Carnegie Mellon Hampton Inn Pittsburgh University/Medical Center Invitational on Saturday morning.
The IUP men finished fourth out of 20 teams while the women came in 10th out of 16. It was the final tune up for the Crimson Hawks before the 2017 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships in October 21.

WOMEN'S RESULTS
Trump finished the course with a time of 26:18.5, just over six seconds back of winner Dominic Stroh of Shippensburg.
Sam Lenze (Indiana, PA) came in 30th overall with a time of 27:25.3 and
Michael Dautlick (Patton, Pa./Cambria Heights) was IUP's third finisher with a time of 27:29.1, good for 58th overall.
For the IUP women,
Makena Felts (Lewisberry, Pa./Red Land) led the Crimson Hawks with a time of 20:21.1, which was 38th overall.
Nicole Best (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) was the team's second finisher with a time of 20:35.1 and
Sam Christman (Limerick, PA./Spring-Ford) followed with a time of 20:37.8.
Up next
IUP is off for two weeks before returning to the course for aforementioned 2017 PSAC Championships in California, Pa. on Saturday, October 21.
