THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks travel to Erie to open up Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play with the sixth-ranked Mercyhurst Lakers. The entire four-game series with No. 6 Mercyhurst this weekend will be played in Erie. This change has been made due field conditions and forecasted weather in Indiana this weekend. Mercyhurst's Phillip D. Hirtzel Field has a turf surface. Friday's doubleheader starts at 1 p.m. First pitch for Saturday's two games is also 1 p.m. IUP enters the weekend after losing three games to No. 14 Millersville in North Carolina last weekend while Mercyhurst looks to extend its winning streak to seven games after beating Ohio Dominican 6-0 back on March 6.
