SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to continuous Friday rain leading to wet field conditions, the Crimson Hawks have been forced to postpone their Saturday home doubleheader with Gannon. Those games will now be played on Monday with a first pitch set for 11 a.m. at Dougherty Field. The four-game series will now begin on Sunday in Erie, with a first pitch set for 1 p.m. Also, IUP's Monday scrimmage with the Altoona Curve has been cancelled.Â

THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks resume Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play on Saturday when they host the Gannon Golden Knights in a doubleheader for the home opener at Owen Dougherty Field beginning at 1 p.m. The two teams will then travel to Erie on Sunday for a doubleheader which also begins at 1 p.m. Originally, the series was to begin at Gannon on Friday but was changed due to the threat of inclement weather.

*Junior infielder
Dan Sepic (York, Pa./Central York) leads the way for the Crimson Hawks as he ranks among the team leaders in slugging percentage (.400 – first), hits (14 – first), total bases (20 – first), batting average (.280 – second), on-base percentage (.400 – second) and RBI (six – second)
*Junior catcher
Wes Carson (Woodstock, Md./Marriots Ridge) leads IUP with a .302 batting average while also leading the team in on-base percentage (.439) and walks (nine). He ranks second in hits (13) and total bases (16) while tying for second with six RBIÂ
*Sophomore RHP
Jeff Allen (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg Area) is 1-1 with a 3.06 ERA in four starts. In 17.2 innings of work, he has struck out 21 (10.7 K/9) while limiting batters to a .206 batting averageÂ
*While Allen will get the start in game one on Saturday, sophomore
