THE WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
In the most important divisional weekend so far this season, the Crimson Hawks will square off in a four-game series with Slippery Rock this Friday and Saturday. Both teams are tied for second place in the PSAC West with 7-5 divisional records, as the series opens on Friday at Slippery Rock and wraps up on Saturday at Owen Dougherty Field. First pitch each day is scheduled for 1 p.m.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
* The Crimson Hawks are looking to rebound from an uneven performance on Tuesday night, splitting with Penn State DuBois (Recap)
* Even with the split in DuBois, IUP has taken seven of its last eight PSAC West games, including a four-game sweep of Clarion last weekend
* Nate Dickey (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) was named PSAC West Hitter of the Week for his performance against Clarion, hitting .500 with two doubles, a triple and six runs batted in
* Slippery Rock went into last weekend tied for first in the West, but dropped all four games to Mercyhurst by a combined score of 14-5, getting shutout in its "home" doubleheader in Butler on Sunday
* The Rock boasts one of the top hitters and one of the top pitchers in the conference in Luca Fuscardo and Alex Pantuso, respectively; Fuscardo is fifth in the PSAC with a .420 batting average, while Pantuso is 2-1 in six starts with 51 strikeouts in 32.1 innings
