IUP baseball (6-18, 3-9 PSAC West) looks forward to its home appearance as they host a four-game series with Clarion (7-21, 2-10 PSAC West) Friday and Saturday at Owen J. Dougherty Field. First pitch each day is scheduled for 1 p.m. The Crimson Hawks are coming off of a 1-3 series at Gannon, while Clarion has lost four straight, including three in a row to California (Pa.) last weekend.
NOTES
>> These will be the first home games of the season for the Crimson Hawks as they've seen their first three divisional series' moved entirely on the road (Pitt-Johnstown, Mercyhurst, Gannon)
>> The Crimson Hawks went 10-4 in games played at Dougherty Field last year, including 10-2 in home divisional contests
>> IUP swept its four-game set with Clarion last year, outscoring the Golden Eagles 34-14;
