MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – IUP track & field athletes won six events, hit 11 qualifying marks, and turned in pair of top six team finishes as the Crimson Hawks competed in the Millersville Metrics Saturday.
Liz Coppella (Bradford, Pa./Bradford) was one of those winners, also hitting an NCAA Division II provisional height in the pole vault at 3.70 meters.

Other individual winners included
Heather Sternby (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) in the 400 meters,
Jada Wilson (King of Prussia, Pa./Upper Merion) in the 400 hurdles,
Derek Noll (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) in the 800 meters,
Charles Wilson-Adams (Tyrone, Pa./Tyrone) in the high jump, and
John Capitosti (/) in the long jump.
Sternby ran a 58.54 in the 400 and Wilson hit 1:04.00 in the 400 hurdles. Noll crossed the line in 1:56.93 in the 800, Wilson-Adams cleared 1.99 meters in the high jump, and Capitosti posted a personal best 6.58 meters in the long jump.
All were Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks.
Other PSAC qualifiers for the men were
Christian Jones (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) in the high jump (1.94 meters),
Ethan Riley (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney Area) in the long jump (6.53 meters), Donovan Burris in the shot put (13.63 meters), and
Thomas Habgood (Yardley, Pa./Notre Dame) in the javelin (54.28 meter). For the women,
Jessica Jones (South Park, Pa./South Park) had a PSAC time of 2:22.60 in the 800 meters.
The men's team finished fourth out of 19 competing teams with 61 points. Division II Messiah won with 95.5 points.
The IUP women finished sixth out of 18 squads with 46 points. Host Millersville won with 201 points.
