IUP Field Hockey falls to No. 7 West Chester

INDIANA, Pa – Seventh-ranked West Chester put together a complete game from start to finish as the Crimson Hawks lost 7-0 Saturday afternoon at George P. Miller Stadium.

IUP falls to 1-3 overall while the Golden Rams improved to 2-1 overall. 

West Chester outshout the Crimson Hawks 28-2, putting 25 total shots on goal. Senior goalie Olivia Accardi stayed strong in the cage, finishing with a career-high 17 saves. 

The Golden Rams also held a 10-4 advantage in penalty corners. 

Up next
The Crimson Hawks will play in their first road game of the season Wednesday, September 19 at Slippery Rock. The primetime matchup is set for 7 p.m.
