INDIANA, Pa. – Mansfield's Larissa Motts was too much for the IUP field hockey team as the Crimson Hawks lost to the Mountaineers 3-0 Tuesday night at George P. Miller Stadium.
Motts scored all three of the game's goals on three shots, netting goals in the first, second and third quarters. Mansfield outshot the Crimson Hawks 10-4 for the game, including 7-1 in shots on goal.
It was the second straight loss for the Crimson Hawks, who fell to 5-6 on the year with a 1-3 conference record. Mansfield improved to 8-3 overall and 2-1 in the league.
