IUP Baseball (2-3, 0-0 PSAC West) head south over the weekend for their 2019 Spring Break Trip. The Crimson Hawks will play a total of eight games over the five days, beginning with a doubleheader against Winston-Salem (10-6, 0-1 CIAA) on Saturday and Sunday.

Jeff Allen tossed 4.1 innings before giving up a homerun in the fifth inning as IUP took game two of a doubleheader Feb. 15, against Le Moyne.
>> In Allen's two starts this season, he has allowed a combined two earned runs over 10.2 innings (1.69 ERA) with 14 strikeouts.
>> Junior outfielder
Chris Eisel is tied for the team lead with a .368 (7-for-19) batting average. He hit two doubles and drove in a run during the second game of the doubleheader against Le Moyne.
>> Sophomore infielder
Colin Williams ties for the team lead in eight statistical categories, including batting average (.368; 7-for-19), hits, one-base percentage (.400) and RBI (5).
>> The Winston-State Rams are on a six-game losing streak, falling to Seton Hill, Bloomsburg and Barton.
>> No. 10 Catawba (16-6, 3-3 SAC) is coming off a 7-6 loss at North Greenville on Wednesday. Indians RHP Sawyer Strickland ranks third in the South Atlantic Conference with a 1.69 ERA and teammate RHP Bryan Ketchie ranks second in the conference with five wins and fourth with a 1.95 ERA.Â
>> The Glenville State Pioneers (0-6, 0-0 MEC) fell to Millersville, March 2, extending their losing streak to six games.Â
