INDIANA, Pa. – IUP's home football game against Lock Haven on Saturday, September 21 is lining up to be special.
With rising country music superstar Tucker Beathard set to perform a free pregame concert, the IUP Athletic Department announced special parking and ticket packages available for next Saturday.
"We're coming off of a great home opener and we received tremendous feedback about our improved gameday atmosphere," said IUP Director of Athletics Todd Garzarelli. "In response to the increased demand, we are launching a new presale initiative regarding parking and tailgating spaces with anticipation of high attendance for both the concert and football game on September 21."
Package #1
$30: Two football game tickets and one tailgate lot parking pass. $26 cost plus $2 facility fee for each game ticket ($1 Facility and $1 Parking Service Fee).
Package #2
$35: Two football game tickets and two tailgate lot parking passes. $31 cost plus $2 facility fee for each game ticket ($1 Facility and $1 Parking Service Fee).
These advanced ticket packages can only be purchased in-person or via phone thru the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex (KCAC) Box Office. The deadline to purchase these packages is Thursday, September 19 at 5 p.m. The KCAC Box Office can be reached by phone at 724.357.5222 ext. 109.
KCAC Box Office hours are Monday thru Friday, 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Box Office is closed on Sundays.
The tailgating lot will open to fans at noon. Tucker Beathard will perform his free concert starting at 2 p.m. in the Stadium South tailgating lot with IUP's kickoff against Lock Haven scheduled for 4 p.m. at George P. Miller Stadium.

The IUP Athletic Department wants fans to help fill Miller Stadium against Lock Haven as we aim for a sellout of 5,000 fans on September 21 with our #Operation5000 initiative.
What else is going on
The IUP Student Co-op is sponsoring a free cup giveaway to all fans entering the stadium. There will be a limited supply, so come early. The 2019 IUP Athletic Hall of Fame Class will be honored during halftime after being formally inducted during a luncheon earlier in the day.
September 21 is the annual IUP Football Alumni Game with former gridiron greats from every decade honored during the game.
Members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) will also be on-hand to honor IUP's nine members of the PSAC CFB 150.
Other game day events include the Colleges Against Cancer walk during pregame and Scout Day for local groups.
