MANSFIELD, Pa. – Senior
Brianna Lubarsky scored the game's lone goal as the the Crimson Hawks continued their early season winning ways with a road shutout at Mansfield Wednesday afternoon.
Lubarsky found the back of the cage in the opening quarter, getting help from freshman forward
Blaise Cugini in the first 10th minute of the game as IUP grabbed the early lead.

Lexi Ciano remained strong throughout the entire game, overcoming 15 shots from the Mountaineers (2-1, 0-0 PSAC) to keep them off the scoreboard. It marked Ciano's first career shutout in just her second start and she finished with five saves. Mansfield also held a 10-1 advantage in penalty corners, including four in the final quarter.

The Crimson Hawks will host the Bloomsburg Huskies (0-2, 0-0 PSAC) this Saturday for a mandated non-conference matchup. Game time is 1 p.m. at Miller Stadium.
