Crimson Hawks enter week with crucial playoff implications

INDIANA, Pa. – IUP women's soccer enters a week of matches that could be the catalysts for the team's playoff aspirations. The Crimson Hawks will travel to Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday for a match beginning at 4 p.m. before making their way back to Indiana on Saturday to take the pitch on Senior Day at South Campus Field against Seton Hill at 11:30 a.m.

Both Pitt-Johnstown and Seton Hill enter the week tied for seventh in the PSAC West with 10 points - UPJ is 3-9-1 and SHU is 3-8-1.  

The Hawks currently sit at fifth in PSAC West table, battling with Edinboro for the fourth and final playoff spot.  IUP's remaining opponents' combined record is 18-28-4 compared to the Fighting Scots' 24-22-5. The Hawks are 7-5-1 overall with 19 points in the division and Edinboro is 8-5-0 overall with 21 points.
