INDIANA, Pa. - Read Across America Day, also known as Dr. Seuss Day, is a yearly observance in the United States held nearest to March 2 – Dr. Seuss’ birthday. This year, IUP student-athletes, as well as some coaches and staff, worked with East Pike Elementary School to provide video recordings of themselves reading children’s books to celebrate this national initiative.

With the help of Emily Briggs, IUP Athletics Director of Facilities, and our IUP student-athletes, young students at East Pike are able to celebrate Tuesday, March 2 with a day of reading.
