INDIANA, Pa. - Lizzi Clemmer scored the game-winning goal with less than four minutes remaining to help the IUP field hockey team to a 2-1 win over visiting Newberry in Friday night's season opener at Miller Stadium.
All three goals in the game came in the second half as both teams combined for 24 shots in the final 30 minutes of play.
Paeton Hartmann opened the scoring in the 41st minute and Newberry tied the game less than six minutes later to start the fourth quarter.Â

The Crimson Hawks will face Lindenwood Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
