LEWISBURG, Pa. - Four Crimson Hawks hit qualifying times as the IUP track & field program opened its weekend at Bucknell University's Bison Outdoor Classic on Friday. 

Distance events dominated the Friday schedule with the qualifying times coming from four IUP distance runners. 

Tori James ran a season-best and PSAC qualifying time in the 1500 meters by nearly six seconds with a time of 4:46.41. Kendall Branan also hit a conference time in the men's 1500 with a mark of 4:01.60. Evan Weaver smashed his previous personal-best in the men's 3000 steeplechase, finishing 17th overall with a PSAC time of 9:30.8. Dan Gibne hit his time in the 10,000 meters, crossing the line with a time of 32:21.86. 

The Bison Outdoor Classic continues Saturday.
