Crimson Hawks ranked eighth in this week's NFHCA DII National Coaches Poll

INDIANA, Pa.- The IUP field hockey team ranked eighth in this week's Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll..

The Crimson Hawks (2-0), jumped up two spots in the poll since the preseason release was made. The team sat at a tied tenth place spot along with University of New Haven and Converse University in the preseason poll. The opening victories against Wingate (3-0) and Mansfield (4-3) for the Crimson Hawks aided in the jump.

This IUP team is looking to climb the ranks even more throughout the next few weeks. They take on the Mercyhurst Lakers in Erie tomorrow at 2pm, planning to continue their momentum in their undefeated streak.
