INDIANA, Pa. - IUP volleyball, soccer, cross country, field hockey, tennis and football will all be in action this week.

The Crimson Hawks volleyball team are traveling to West Virginia on Tuesday where they will face the Shepherd Rams. IUP enters the week with a 5-1 overall record while Shepherd is 8-0. The Hawks will also be competing in their home opener this weekend at the IUP invitational. The first match will commence 9am Friday at the KCAC against Davis & Elkins and they will play again at 6pm against UIndy. On Saturday the Hawks will be going up against D'Youville at 4pm and Frostburg State at 8pm.

The IUP women's soccer team are on the road this Wednesday where they be facing Slippery Rock. The Hawks are looking to get their first win under their belts after their first two contests resulted in a tie. Kickoff is scheduled for 4pm.

The IUP men's and women's cross country team are traveling to West Virginia for their first event of the year. The Hawks will be competing in the Bethany Invitational on Saturday with races set to begin at 10am. 

The IUP field hockey team are on the road this Saturday where they will competing against the Mansfield Mountaineers at 1pm. After defeating Wingate in their first match of the season the Hawks are looking bring this momentum into their upcoming match. 

The IUP women's tennis team will return to the court this weekend where they will compete in the Kenyon Invitational. At the invitational the Hawks will be competing against some tough DIII opponents, which include Carnegie Mellon who are ranked 11 in the nation and Case Western Reserve who are ranked 12. This will be the first time the Hawks return to the court since making it to the DII National Championships in Florida.

The IUP football team will be kicking off their season on the road this Saturday against East Stroudsburg. The Hawks will be looking to continue their 6 match win streak against the Warriors who are currently 0-1 on their season.
