LEWISBURG, Pa. – IUP indoor track & field had several student-athletes qualify for the finals in several events, concluding the opening day of competition at the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships at Bucknell on Saturday.
Cassidy Kline (1:00.30) and
Justin Egizio (50.21) each qualified for the 400m finals for IUP, with Egizio finishing second overall in the opening round.
Brynna Kelly also qualified for the finals in the women's 60m hurdles, posting a seventh-place time of 9.26.
Dan Gibney logged fifth overall in the men's 5000m with a time of 15:14.04, while teammate
Joel Beckwith followed in ninth (15:29.02).
Cahsia Page just missed out on the qualifying line for the women's 200m, posting a ninth-place prelim time of 25.99.
Noah Shannon-Hatchett raced to 11th overall in the men's 60m (7.07), also competing in the 200m for the Hawks.
