SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – IUP track & field collected a total of 10 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks at Shippensburg's Paul Kaiser Classic on Saturday.
IUP posted a total of 10 top-five finishes on the day, highlighted by a victory in the 10,000m by
Dan Gibney. Gibney took first overall in 31:59.39, a personal best for the sophomore.
Noah Shannon-Hatchett qualified for the finals of the 100m, posting fifth overall, while
Brynna Kelly and
Cassidy Kline were each fourth overall in their respective hurdle events for the Crimson Hawks.
Adam Lechleitner was also impressive as part of the IUP distance squad, finishing second in the 3000m steeplechase (10:01.62.)
Joel Beckwith posted fifth in the 3,000m (8:49.02) with
Lucas Pajak racing to third in the 5,000m (15:21.74).
Hannah Miller picked up sixth for the IUP women in the 10,000m and
Stella Kuntz was fourth overall in the 3,000m steeplechase behind a time of 12:52.63. In the field,
Sarah Isenberg recorded a PSAC mark in the high jump in 1.56m.
