CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Crimson Hawks closed out a three day stretch at the 12th annual Magnus Cup hosted by Cleveland State. On Friday the men placed 6th out of 10 teams (187) and on Saturday they placed seventh out of 10 teams (308). The women placed 11th each day, 71 points on Friday and 77 on Saturday.
Friday
The women's 200 medley relay team, consisting of
Kasha Stokes,
Tina Cudina,
Katie Crosscut, and
Summer Esson, secured 14th place out of 47 teams with a time of 1:44.65.
In the 200 freestyle,
Luke Mikesell finished fourth with a time of 1:39.83, while Ty Uhlig came in 12th at 1:43.04.
Kasha Stokes placed eighth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.12. On the men's side,
Alexander Roth took 11th in the same event, finishing in 51.21.
In the 3-meter diving competition,
Nicholas Roddy placed sixth with a score of 242.70, closely followed by Jeremiah in seventh place with 239.45.
Saturday
Ty Uhlig delivered a strong performance in the 1650 freestyle, finishing fourth among 38 participants with a time of 15:58.66.
Alexander Roth also excelled, taking fifth place in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:49.89.
In the men's 100 freestyle,
Stephen Goff placed 13th with a time of 45.93, narrowly ahead of
Luke Mikesell, who finished 14th at 45.98.
The men's 400 freestyle relay team, composed of
Alexander Roth,
Stephen Goff,
Luke Mikesell, and Nick Vaow, claimed sixth place with a time of 3:04.38.
