MANAHAWKIN, NJ – IUP field hockey's Jess Davidson was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2024 NFHCA All-American Second Team sponsored by Apex Field Hockey, released Tuesday.
 
Davidson is one of 32 student-athletes selected from 16 Division II institutions. The award recognizes student-athletes for accomplishments and outstanding performances this fall.
 
This is the second time Davidson has earned NFHCA Second Team honors, having previously received the recognition in 2022. Her achievements this season also include being named an All-PSAC First Team honoree, receiving NFHCA DII Offensive Player of the Week honorable mention on November 6, and being recognized as the PSAC Athlete of the Week on November 4.

Davidson, a native of Nelson, New Zealand, scored nine goals this season, including three game-winners, and added five assists. She also recorded two multi-goal games, first against Mount Olive and again against D'Youville.
 
IUP field hockey ended the season 6-10 overall and 3-6 in the PSAC.
