GENEVA, Ohio – The IUP track & field teams had one final tune-up ahead of the conference championships, competing in the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games on Saturday in Ohio.
Among the highlights for IUP were
Kendall Branan's victory in the 600m (1:22.03), four Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks and 10 top-20 individual finishes across the lineup.
Joel Beckwith and
Sam Moffat notched PSAC standards in the 5,000m for IUP, logging 13th (15:28.47) and 17th place (15:35.69), respectively.
Sterlene Scott raced to 17th overall in the women's 60m (7.91), while the women's 4x400m relay group of
Cahsia Page,
Isabella Sadler,
Bella Brozeski and
Cassidy Kline were 11th with a combined mark of 4:09.06.
Justin Egizio added a PSAC mark in the 200m (15th; 22.48) and
Evan Weaver rounded out the qualifiers for the conference meet with his time of 8:51.19 in the 3,000m.
