SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The IUP men's and women's track team had representatives from the distance squad race in the 10,000m at Slippery Rock's Dave Labor Invitational on Saturday.
Waiting until the final event to compete, the Crimson Hawks posted some strong finishes and four combined Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying standards.
Julia O'Brien won the women's race with a PSAC mark of 39:47.74. The Hawks had three top 10 finishes on the men's side, all with PSAC standards.
Erik Moyer paced the group in sixth (33:12.79) with
Joel Beckwith close behind in seventh (33:12.87).
Tom Brady was ninth overall in 33:25.74 and
Parker Bradley rounded out the IUP competitors in 18th (36:23.60).
