INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP field hockey team celebrated senior Jess Davidson with a 2-0 victory over No. 5 Bloomsburg on Tuesday.
Davidson recorded two assists, setting up freshman Lauren Horning in the first half and sophomore Grace McGeehan later in the game.
The win marked IUP's first over Bloomsburg since 2021. The Crimson Hawks improved to 8-6 overall and 5-4 in PSAC play, while Bloomsburg fell to 12-5, 4-5 in the conference.
Junior goalkeeper Celeste Pagliaroli earned the shutout with two saves.
IUP travels to Slippery Rock for a non-conference matchup Wednesday, followed by a trip to West Chester on Nov. 1.
