ERIE, Pa. — For the second time in three years, the Indiana University of Pennsylvania women's volleyball team is headed to the Atlantic Regional final after defeating East Stroudsburg in four sets Friday.
The Crimson Hawks will face top-seeded Gannon on the Golden Knights' home court for a spot in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
IUP will look to avenge two regular-season losses to Gannon, both in straight sets. Gannon, which fell to East Stroudsburg in the PSAC final last week, still earned the No. 1 seed in the regional.
The Golden Knights are led by three all-region selections: junior front-line players Lauren Atwell and Sydney Wake, along with senior setter Bengisu Arslan.
Gannon controlled the regular-season series, with IUP coming within four points of the Golden Knights just once across six sets.
IUP will lean on attackers Deaney Concannon, Jessica Neiman and Charlotte Potvin, while Ellie Rauch and Brooke Kessler will lead the passing effort.
Concannon posted 23 kills and 22 digs in the win over East Stroudsburg, and Rauch recorded 56 assists.
