LEWISBURG, Pa. -- The IUP track and field programs returned to Bucknell University for the team challenge, while
Mike Formica competed in the Virginia Challenge on Friday.Â
Formica placed sixth in the 5000m with a personal best time of 14:24.51.Â
In the women's 100m, IUP placed four in the top 10.Â
Cahsia Page placed second in both the 100m (12.10) and the 200m (25.07), with both times being personal bests and PSAC qualifying marks.Â
The women's 4x100m relay placed third, with a 47.84 time, consisting of Page,
Renee Simmonds,
Anna Kadlubek, and
Emma Laughlin. The 4x400m relay came in third as well with a 4:04.48 time.
Bella Brozeski,
Mackenzie Kirsch,
Grace Bogacz, and
Sterlene Scott were part of the relay.Â
Nataiah Robertson placed third in the women's long jump (5.52m) and secured a PSAC qualifying mark.
Kaylla Williams placed second in the javelin throw (45.49m), posting an NCAA provisional standard.Â
For the men's 100m,
George Jennings just missed out of the top 10 with an 11th place finish (11.06).
Adam Wood took first in the men's high jump (1.95m) and hit a PSAC qualifying mark.Â
Marco Cardone led IUP in the men's 1500m with his 11th place finish with a time of 4:07.24. Alex Amador placed 11th in the men's 800m, and his 1:56.49 time secured a PSAC qualifying mark.
The men's team finished sixth with 29 points while the women's team finished fourth with 65.5 points.Â
