LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) women's cross country team was voted just outside the top ten as released by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) coaches, released on Wednesday.
 
The Crimson Hawks finished last year's championship meet in the tenth spot, with the best finisher for IUP finishing No. 37. The Hawks had two runners in the top 50 of the competitors.
 
Julia O'Brien was the top finisher for the Hawks in last year's PSAC meet and will look to go even further in 2025. O'Brien had a career-best finish of 20:28.8 as a 5K time last season. In her 6K Championship Met, she finished the race with a time of 23:49.4.
 
Senior Katie McCormick, who finished No. 57 in the PSAC 6K meet last Fall with a time of 24:23.5, ran her first mile in 6:01.3 and will look to better that time in 2025.
