GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Crimson Hawks continued their offensive dominance against Millersville and now hit the road for their first away game of the season at Seton Hill.
The Griffins are looking to bounce back from a loss to West Chester and give first-year head coach Kevin May his first PSAC win.
The programs first met in 2013, when IUP shut out the Griffins 26-0. Their most recent matchup in 2024 ended with the Crimson Hawks pulling out a 20-13 win. IUP holds a 10-1 all-time record over Seton Hill and has won five of six meetings at Offutt Field.
Last week, IUP racked up more than 700 yards of total offense. Quarterback Matthew Rueve broke the single-game school record with six touchdown passes, throwing for 443 yards. Wide receiver Maurice Massey caught four touchdown passes and finished with 173 yards on six receptions.

Keep Slinging It
After throwing five touchdowns against Lock Haven, Rueve broke the IUP single-game touchdown record with six scoring passes against Millersville. He played just one series into the second half. Rueve has now tied his career high in touchdown passes twice, previously doing so with Findlay in 2024.
Big-Time Players, Big-Time Plays
Massey set a career high with four touchdown receptions. His previous best was three against Gannon in 2024. His 173 receiving yards were just shy of his career-best 181 yards, also set against Gannon.
All He Does Is Catch Touchdowns
Freshman Jeremiah Coleman has emerged as a reliable target, catching five passes in two games — four for touchdowns. He recorded a career-high 123 receiving yards last week, including a 66-yard catch-and-run.
Splash Plays Everywhere
Eleven of IUP's scoring plays this season have gone for at least 20 yards. Special teams have contributed as well, with Kalen Frazier's 60-yard punt return touchdown against Lock Haven — IUP's first punt return score since 2014.
Defense Delivers
IUP ranks third in the PSAC in total defense, allowing just over 15 points per game. The Crimson Hawks have recorded 12 sacks, fourth in the conference, for a loss of 88 yards.

Massey earned PSAC West Offensive Player of the Week honors after his four-touchdown, 173-yard performance against Millersville.
Special Teams a Key Factor
Seton Hill ranks second in the PSAC in punt return average at 25.0 yards per return, including one touchdown. IUP leads the conference in opponent punt returns forced with 10.
Unfamiliar but Familiar Foes
Seton Hill is IUP's least-played PSAC opponent, with the Crimson Hawks holding a 5-1 record since 2015. The only loss came in 2023 in Greensburg.
Receiver Depth
Seven different IUP receivers have caught touchdown passes this season. Massey leads with five touchdowns on 13 catches, while Coleman has scored four touchdowns on just five receptions and is averaging 43 yards per catch.
