LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — IUP women's basketball senior Ellie Wilkerson was named the PSAC West women's basketball athlete of the week, her first such honor this season and the first time the award has been given in 2026.
Wilkerson scored a season-high 23 points on nine field goals and went 5-for-5 from 3-point range in the Crimson Hawks' victory over Millersville on Saturday. Her 23 points were one shy of her career high of 24, set in a 67-52 Atlantic Region Tournament win over Edinboro in March 2024.
Wilkerson totaled nine assists over two games and added three steals and two blocks. She leads the team in blocks per game and ranks second in assists and third in field goals made and points.
In her second season with IUP, Wilkerson has started 40 of 41 games for the Crimson Hawks, averaging 10.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
