LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – IUP senior outside hitter Delaney Concannon was named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week following a strong defensive weekend that helped the Crimson Hawks earn a pair of road sweeps.

The honor marks the first PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week selection for IUP this season.

Concannon totaled 27 digs across six sets, averaging 4.50 digs per set as IUP defeated Edinboro and Gannon in straight sets on the road.

The senior opened the weekend with 11 digs and three blocks in IUP's 26-24, 25-19, 25-23 victory over Edinboro on Friday. She followed with a match-high 16 digs Saturday as the Crimson Hawks completed the road weekend with a 25-19, 25-12, 25-19 sweep of Gannon.

It marks Concannon's second PSAC weekly honor of the season after she was named the PSAC West Athlete of the Week on Sept. 8.
