IUP Sweeps PSAC Athlete of the Week Honors After 4-0 Week

Lock Haven, Pennsylvania — After a perfect 4-0 week that featured home victories over Seton Hill University and Clarion University, the Indiana University of Pennsylvania men's and women's basketball programs swept the latest PSAC Athlete of the Week honors.

On the men's side, Dallis Dillard averaged 24.5 points per game to lead the Crimson Hawks, adding 6.0 assists and 7.0 rebounds per contest. He poured in 29 points in IUP's win over Clarion, finishing just two points shy of his career high.

Dillard continues to pace the Crimson Hawks offensively, leading the team with 21.3 points per game. He is the only player in the PSAC averaging at least 20 points per contest this season.

For the women, Nyshae' Weaver delivered a historic and dominant week in the paint. Weaver became just the third player in program history to reach 1,000 career rebounds while averaging 14.0 rebounds over two games. She recorded two double-doubles, averaging 16.0 points and 5.5 assists per game in the pair of victories.

The honor marks the second PSAC Athlete of the Week award this season for both Dillard and Weaver as IUP continues its strong push through conference play.
