IUP hosts “White Out” games for Saturday basketball doubleheader

INDIANA, Pa. – The nationally-ranked IUP women's and men's basketball programs conclude the 2025-26 regular season with a "White Out" game against nationally-ranked Gannon at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on Saturday, February 28. All fans in attendance will receive one free IUP 150th anniversary T-shirt upon arrival, while supplies last. 
 
Doors for the doubleheader open at noon. 
 
Game tickets are available online and inside the First Commonwealth Bank Box Office at the KCAC. Student tickets are free with a valid I-Card. 
 
What you need to know
  • The women's game tips off at 1 p.m. with the men's game to follow at approximately 3 p.m. 
  • Free T-shirts will be available at various entrances throughout the arena. Students can obtain their anniversary shirts through the student entrance. 
  • Members of IUP basketball's senior class will be recognized before both games. 
  • Fans are encouraged to arrive early and wear white for the game. 



 
About the IUP 150th anniversary T-shirt
  • The IUP 150th anniversary T-shirt features a design created by senior graphic design major Like Leccia. He won the university's T-shirt design contest and was recognized at the 150th Crimson Carnival Celebration in August 2025.

Saturday at a glance 
  • IUP women's basketball is 23-2 overall, ranked fifth nationally and first in the latest NCAA DII Atlantic Region rankings. Gannon women's basketball is ranked sixth nationally and second in the regional rankings. 
  • The winner of the women's game on Saturday claims the PSAC West regular season championship and earns the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament next week. 
  • IUP men's basketball is 20-5 overall, ranked 24th nationally and fourth in the latest NCAA DII Atlantic Region Rankings. The Crimson Hawks have locked up the division's three seed in the PSAC Tournament, marking the program's 18th consecutive conference tournament appearance since 2008.  
  • Gannon men's basketball is ranked fifth nationally with a 25-2 mark this season. The Golden Knights have locked up the top seed in the PSAC West and sit atop the latest NCAA DII Atlantic Region Rankings.
