PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Redshirt senior Dallis Dillard of the IUP Crimson Hawks men's basketball has been named Atlantic Region Player of the Year by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association, the organization announced Thursday.

Dillard, who was also named West Division Athlete of the Year in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, put together one of the most complete seasons in Division II. He was the only guard in the nation to average more than 20 points, six rebounds, five assists and 2.5 steals per game.

The standout guard shot better than 45 percent from the field and nearly 39 percent from three-point range. He also ranked among the top five players in the PSAC in both assists and steals while leading the conference in scoring as the only player to average more than 20 points per game.

Dillard was one of five PSAC players recognized on the All-Atlantic Region teams and was joined on the first team by Bryson Lucas and Day Waters.
