LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The Indiana (Pa.) men's basketball team received its first postseason recognition of the year Tuesday, as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its all-conference teams.
The Crimson Hawks placed three players on the all-conference list, highlighted by Dallis Dillard being named PSAC West Player of the Year. Dillard and senior guard Christian Moore earned first-team honors, while Kymani Merraro was selected to the second team.
Dillard was the only player in the conference to average more than 20 points per game during the regular season. In addition to leading the PSAC in scoring, he topped the league in total steals (67) and steals per game (2.5), while ranking second in assists at 5.0 per contest. Dillard scored in double figures in every game this season and eclipsed the 30-point mark three times, including a career-high 31 points against Slippery Rock University on Feb. 14.
Moore finished second on the team in scoring at 17 points per game. He reached double figures in all but three contests and poured in a career-high 29 points against PennWest California on Jan. 28. Moore also averaged nearly three assists per game while logging more than 30 minutes per contest.
Merraro, last season's PSAC Freshman of the Year, averaged more than 11 points per game to go along with 3.4 assists and 2.6 rebounds this year. He played just under 30 minutes per game and teamed with Dillard and Moore to form one of the league's most dynamic backcourts. Merraro appeared in all 28 games this season, making 27 starts.
