INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP football team continued its unbeaten start with a 35-7 victory over Seton Hill in its home and PSAC West opener Saturday at Miller Stadium.

The Crimson Hawks improved to 4-0, their best start since 2024, and moved into the top 10 of the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll for the first time since 2018. IUP was ranked No. 2 nationally in the Oct. 1, 2018, edition of the poll.

IUP also climbed to No. 13 in the D2Football.com Top 25.

Three PSAC programs are ranked inside the top 10 of the AFCA poll. Kutztown remained No. 3 nationally following its victory over previously unbeaten Shepherd, while Slippery Rock sits one spot ahead of IUP at No. 8 after defeating California (Pa.).

Shepherd is among the 18 teams recieving votes in the AFCA polls.

The Crimson Hawks have won each of their first four games this season, including three on the road, before returning to Miller Stadium for Saturday's victory over the Griffins. IUP scored 35 unanswered points and did not allow an offensive touchdown in the win.
