Junior men's golfer Max Kirsch was named an IUP Athlete of the Week on Tuesday for the week ending on Sunday, May 8. Kirsch was the top finisher for the Crimson Hawks as they wrapped up play last week at the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Atlantic/East Region Championships, coming in a tie for 14th individually.
 
Kirsch shot a nine-over 225 during the three round tournament, improving by seven strokes from the first to third rounds, finishing with an even par 72 on the final day.
