Redshirt sophomore guard Lauren Wolosik was named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, February 5. It's her second IUP weekly award of the season.
Wolosik led the Crimson Hawks to a pair of wins last week, averaging a team-best 19.0 points while shooting 54.5 percent and dishing out 4.0 assists per game. She had a career night on Saturday, scoring a personal best 29 points in IUP's 105-73 win over Slippery Rock. Wolosik connected on 9-of-14 shots, including a career-best five three-pointers, adding five assists, four rebounds, and three steals.
Wolosik leads the 16-5 Crimson Hawks with 68 assists this year, and is third on the team with 12.2 points per game.
