INDIANA, Pa. – Kenzi Kessler and Malik Miller were named IUP Athletes of the Week on January 7, 2019.
Due to the winter break, the voting of athletic performances spanned from December 18, 2018 to January 6, 2019.
Kessler met three qualifying times for the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, Wednesday, December 19, at the IUP Winter Invitational.
She hit the necessary times in the women’s 100 breaststroke (1:08.22), 200 breaststroke (2:31.62), and the 200 IM (2:18.05).
Miller receives his second weekly award this season as he scored a career-high 26 points as the Crimson Hawks went onto beat Gannon 78-57, extending their winning streak to 12 games.
Miller also tallied up 15 assists throughout a three-game time period.
