Sophomore guard Armoni Foster and senior linebacker Damon Lloyd were named IUP Athletes of the Week, announced by the sports information office Monday morning.
 
This is Foster's first career IUP weekly honor and the third for Lloyd.
 
Foster scored a career-high 28 points as he led the 11th-ranked IUP men's basketball team to an 82-78 win at Le Moyne Friday night. He scored 22 of his game-high 28 in the second half as the Crimson Hawks rallied from five down at the break to outscore Le Moyne 41-32 in the final 20 minutes.
 
Foster had back-to-back scores to open the second half and later hit three straight buckets as IUP scored 17 straight points to open the second half and take a 12-point lead.
 
Foster shot 13-of-20 with a 3-pointer and had two steals in 36 minutes.
 
Lloyd was named PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week after helping the 18th-ranked IUP football program to a 54-24 win over Shippensburg Saturday, clinching a fourth NCAA playoff berth in the last five years.
 
Lloyd posted his seventh double-digit tackle game of the season with 13 total stops to headline the defensive effort. His performance put him over 100 tackles for the third straight season and gave him a PSAC-leading 111 on the year.
