2013-14 Schedule

INDIANA, PA – The men's and women's indoor track & field teams have released their schedule for the 2013-14 season.

IUP's season-opener will be Monday, Oct. 7 when they travel to Lewisburg for the Bison Opener hosted by Bucknell University. That will be the teams' only competition in the fall.

In January, they will compete in their second event of the year, heading to Youngstown, Ohio for the YSU Invitational.

Penn State Nationals and the Division II Challenge at Spire Institute held Jan. 31 to Feb. 1 and Feb. 7 to Feb. 8, respectively, will prepare the teams for championship competition.

The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Edinboro, will be March 1 and 2, followed by the NCAA Championships in Winston Salem, N.C. March 14 and 15.

Last season, both teams finished the PSAC Championships in sixth place.

Brandon Ford (Philadelphia/Cardinal O'Hara) and Laurie Ajavon (Saint-Oven, France/Auguste Blanqui) competed for IUP in the NCAA Championships with Ford finishing 16th in the men's triple jump and Ajavon finishing ninth in the women's long jump.
