AT A GLANCE
The Crimson Hawks open up the home schedule of the 2013-14 season, playing host to Notre Dame (Ohio). IUP is coming off an impressive 79-62 victory over West Virginia Wesleyan, ringing in the regular season Wednesday in Buckhannon, W. Va. Notre Dame (Ohio), a member of the newly formed Mountain East Conference, has opened up the season with two road losses, falling to No. 21 Winston Salem State and Fayetteville State. 

GETTING DOWN TO BUSINESS
The Crimson Hawks picked up right where they left off last season, earning their first W of the year against West Virginia Wesleyan Wednesday night. IUP had four players with double-digit scoring nights, led by Sr. G Mathis Keita (Thionville, France/Insep) who set a career-high in points, netting 30 in the 79-62 victory. Sr. F Marcel Souberbielle (Montevideo, Uruguay/Uruguayan American School) recorded 14 points, followed by Jr. G Devante Chance (Philadelphia, Pa. /Electrical & Technology Charter) with 12 and R-Jr. F Jeremy Jeffers (Wilson, N.C./Greenfield School) with 10.

OFFENSE, OFFENSE, OFFENSE
Saturday's game is set to be an offensive show as both teams come in with big offensive numbers. In their two losses on the season, the Falcons are averaging 85 points per game, led by Jr. G Lawrence DeArmond, who is averaging 22.5 scores per game. Notre Dame has three players who have scored more than 30 points this season, DeArmond (45). Sr. G Jarvis Huntley (39) and So. G Tyree Gaiter (34). With their two exhibition losses and the win at West Virginia Wesleyan, the Crimson Hawks are averaging 83 points per game, led by Keita and Souberbielle who have each talliled 43 points apiece.

BENCH PRESENCE
A similarity of this game is the underperformance of both team's benches. The Falcons come into the game averaging just 11 points and 5 rebounds per game. In IUP's win over West Virginia Wesleyan, the Crimson Hawks got just 9 points and 9 rebounds from their bench. Gr. G Jesse Bosnik (St. Marys/Elk County Catholic) led the way for IUP in that game, finishing with 5 points and 3 rebounds. So. F Kalusha Ndoumbe Ngollo (Paris, France/Saint Andrews) recorded 4 points and grabbed 2 boards.

CAREER NIGHTS
Wednesday night was a career night for six Crimson Hawks, highlighted by Keita whorecorded a career high 30 points. R-Fr. G Cornell Yarde II (Reading, Pa. /Schuylkill Valley) set a career-high in minutes, rebounds and assists; Jeffers set career-highs in minutes and rebounds; R-So. F Devon Cottrell (Pittsburgh, Pa. /Gateway) set career highs in minutes, rebounds, assists and blocks; Bosnik hit career marks in minutes, points and rebounds; and Ngollo tied a career-high in blocks.
