Scooter Renkin (Midlothian, VA/Blue Ridge) came off the bench tonight and in 27 minutes had 11 points, eight assists and six rebounds, with four coming on the offensive end including three in one series.

Edinboro held early leads but the Crimson Hawks would continue to tie the score before eventually going on top by four at 23-19 after a three-pointer by Renkin. The Fighting Scots fought back to regain the lead by IUP finished the final 4:31 of the half with a 10-3 run to take a 38-34 lead into the break.

The Crimson Hawks lead went to 14 at 52-38 six minutes into the second half after a 10-0 run. It would remain at 14 with eight minutes to go before a 15-6 run by the Fighting Scots made it a 68-63 game with just 3:40 to go.

A three-pointer by the Fighting Scots two minutes later narrowed IUP's lead to four a 70-66 but Wells would answer with a triple of his own and free throws down the stretch by Keita and Souberbielle kept Edinboro at arm's length as the Crimson Hawks closed out the win.
