Lock Haven advanced their runner to third with a sacrifice bunt in the bottom half, but IUP starter Tara Senn (Eagle/Downington East) forced two pop outs to wrap up the win.

The Bald Eagles scored the game's first run in the second but RBI singles by Viguers and Stef McCoy in the third gave IUP a 2-1 lead. Lock Haven tied things up in the fourth before each team went scoreless over the next five innings before the 10th.

The Crimson Hawks held an 8-7 lead in game two but Lock Haven scored on a wild pitch with two outs in the seventh to send it to extra innings.

It was the top of the eighth with two outs when IUP did all of its damage, starting with a double to left center by Mary Ward (Hatfield/North Penn). She scored on a single by Ashley Strack (Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop), who would then come around after a base hit by McCoy. Meghan Carney (Corry/Corry) helped make it three runs in the inning by reaching on a Lock Haven error, scoring McCoy.

After a leadoff single by Lock Haven in the bottom half, Senn retired the next three batters to secure the upset sweep of the division leaders.

At least one run was scored in each inning, including four in the fourth by the Crimson Hawks. McCoy provided some fireworks early with a solo homerun in the second to give IUP a 2-1 lead.

With two wins on the day Senn improves to 13-8 on the season.
